Sibling Rivalry In Full Force For The Uptons, Who Both Hit Career Home Run No. 100 On The Same Night

In Upton news that has nothing to do with Kate (we’re sorry), something very cool happened for Major League Baseball’s B.J. and Justin Friday night. Both Uptons thought it would be a good idea to hit their 100th career dingers on the same night, B.J. knocking his out at the Trop only minutes after little bro Justin sent his sailing to the left field bleachers at Citizen’s Bank Ballpark.

While they aren’t quite baseball’s version of the Mannings, the Uptons did provide us with some unique entertainment Friday night. And though it appears on the surface the stars had to align for this to happen, it makes sense more logical sense than you think.

The elder B.J. has always kind of been outdone by Justin, whose career stats are just a shade better than his older brother. That’s not how it’s supposed to be and B.J. knew it. Anything Justin could do, the older brother had to do better, right? That was certainly the case Friday in B.J.’s ultimate act of sibling rivalry. I mean, they hit 99 on the same night too.

I don’t know what kind of upbringing the Uptons had, but I’m guessing their parents definitely made them wear the same outfit whenever the Uptons took a day trip to the mall.
