No matter who wins tonight’s NLDS Game 5 between the Phillies and Cardinals, this seems destined to go down as the Series of Squirrels. They ran loose on the field at Busch Stadium in St. Louis two games in a row, and as it turned out, even traveling halfway across the country wasn’t enough to keep Family Sciuridae down. The above video, shot by Fox Sports Midwest, documents the early – and (too?) spirited – chase for the critter, which apparently ended with a groundskeeper catching it with his hands…but not before it made it to the outfield. WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING?!
