Breathe Easy: Miss Universe (i.e. Stephen Strasburg) Returning To Nats Tuesday
Hope you enjoyed that light-hearted “Miss Universe/Miss Iowa ‘controversy’,” because with any luck for the Washington Nationals, there won’t be another like it for a while.
That’s because pitching phenom Stephen Strasburg, whose injury created the whole ordeal, is returning to the rotation Tuesday, giving the Nationals their savior back.
Strasburg threw a simulated game yesterday (at least 40 pitches’ worth of one), and appeared to be fine. And while we enjoyed the whole Miss Iowa flap here at SportsGrid, we enjoy having Stephen Strasburg starts to look forward to even more. Tuesday, we have those once again. Hallelujah!
