The Yankees Compounded Their 4-3 Loss To The Red Sox Last Night By Crashing The Team Bus

Welp. The Yankees suffered another loss last night at Fenway Park, leaving them deadlocked atop the AL East with the Baltimore Orioles at 79-62. The Bombers are 7-13 over their last 20 games, and Mike Francesca’s phone lines are blowing up with the terrified ramblings of New Yorkers (and New Jersey-ers) everywhere.

And then this happened (via NY Post):

“After last night’s 4-3 loss to the Red Sox, the Yankees were pulling out of a Fenway Park parking lot when their driver crashed the bus into a gate protecting the entrance, breaking a window.

According to bystanders, glass was shattered into the bus, but nobody was injured.”

Clearly, this is a metaphor for something. Write away, internet!
