Watch Brewers Outfielder Nyjer Morgan’s Bizarre Alter Ego Once Again Hijack Post-Game Interview
If “The Most Interesting Man in the World” thinks that Nyjer Morgan‘s post-game interview is worth watching, who are we not to oblige?
The Brewers center fielder had a bases-clearing double in the fifth inning and later scored from first on an RBI double by Ryan Braun in the bottom of the seventh to hand Milwaukee a 6-2 lead over the Cardinals en route to its seventh straight win. He promptly signed a “T” with his hands in the dugout — presumably in homage to his alter ego (or “gentleman’s name,” if you will) — and shot an imaginary arrow at the camera. Because, well, apparently that’s just something you do in that situation. See below:
Morgan then gave a “real, real professional” post-game interview, during part of which he was in character as Tony Plush (or in this case, Tony Gumbel – the more formal, buttoned-down version of Plush, we guess). It wasn’t the first time Mr. Plush hijacked an interview, but proved equally as entertaining. “Ahhh!”
