Nationals’ Wilson Ramos Found Alive After Kidnapping

We’ve had a lot of bad news this week – awful news, the kind you can’t un-hear even though you wish you could. Well, for a change, here’s some good news. And even it started as bad news – Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos being kidnapped in his native Venezuela. So it was an especially welcome bit of news to see Ramos was found alive tonight and is being returned home. A harrowing experience – but thankfully also, it seems, a happy ending. All the best to Ramos as he begins to move on from this, and hopefully he’ll never go through anything like it again.
