Worst Idea Ever? Fan Wears LeBron’s Heat Jersey To Cleveland Indians Game (Video)

A fan wearing a LeBron James jersey to a Cleveland Indians game was a common occurrence as recently as a month ago. But ever since LeBron decided to publicly break up with the state of Ohio forever, his jerseys haven’t been seen at Progressive Field (probably because they’ve all been burned).

Well, one attention-seeking young man changed all that last night at the Indians-Yankees game, wearing a LeBron James jersey. A Miami Heat LeBron James jersey.

Not surprisingly, it didn’t turn out well. A crowd became a mob, as hundreds of fans pointed and booed at the ‘Bron-sympathizer. It got so bad that security had to escort him out.

The guy, who continuously raised his arms as if to say “My foolproof plan to be the most famous asshole in Cleveland has worked out perfectly,” was just featured on Sportscenter. So there’s that.

Here’s video of his Tom Clancy-style extraction from Progressive Field.

Maybe I did not get the memo that said I could not wear a t-shirt to any damned place I wanted. I think you got it mixed up, the rabid fans hunting this guy down are the assholes. Just a stupid t-shirt sets them off? Heaven help us all.

Just more proof that people from Cleveland are losers. Seriously?! Get over it Cleveland. You don’t own LeBron. He’s just like any other athlete. They move teams every now and again. It’s not a new revelation. Who can blame him for moving to a place where he has a chance for winning a title and making more money. It’s his life.
