Yankees Reporter Hit By Rogue Piece Of Pie (Video)
One of the occupational hazards faced by Yankees on-field reporter Kim Jones is pie shrapnel. You see, the team’s jokester/prankster/underwhelming starting pitcher A.J. Burnett has a habit of pieing whoever hits the game-winner, and today it was Nick Swisher.
So, when Swisher was being interviewed by Jones today after his two run, bottom-of-the-ninth homer, a pie was expected. Unluckily for Jones, a runaway piece of shaving cream hit her square on the noggin, and she was forced to conduct the rest of the interview with it on her nose. Jones, ever the professional, took it in stride.
