Watch NASCAR’s Boris Said Say A Fellow Driver “Needs A Friggin’ Whuppin’”
Most of us have experienced road rage at some point or another, so it makes sense to us that drivers in NASCAR are occasionally prone to extreme cases of that feeling. After all, they’re particularly competitive people, and they’ve got their livelihood riding on the line if someone around them screws up and makes driving difficult (as opposed to, say, getting to the supermarket a little later than they’d like). So sometimes, tempers flare, the anger remains after the race, and we have a fight.
Today, driver Boris Said, irate at rival Greg Biffle after today’s race at Watkins Glen (Marcos Ambrose won, for the record), first tried to fight Biffle, but when Biffle wouldn’t engage, gave us something perhaps even better: a hilarious (and also slightly scary) monologue about how unprofessional Biffle is and how he’d sure like to deliver a beatdown to Biffle. Video below – the quasi-fighting happens near the beginning, with Said working his verbal magic beginning at the 1:24 mark:
Coolest person in NASCAR? That’s a tough call. Our favorite person in NASCAR at the moment? Without question. Despite the interview starting to get legitimately uncomfortable when Said talks about finding Biffle and giving him a black eye…we can’t say we didn’t enjoy it. We hope he doesn’t actually go hunting for Biffle, though. After this rant, an actual fight couldn’t help but be a letdown.
