Cavs Assistant To LeBron: “Shut The F*ck Up” (Video)

For the second time in six months, LeBron James ripped the heart out of Cleveland on national television. Except this time, instead of a red-striped shirt, he was wearing a Miami Heat jersey.

James scored a season-high 38 points, 24 of which came during the third quarter, as the Heat bulldozed the Cavs 118-90. The game was essentially over midway through, and he didn’t even get off the bench for the fourth quarter – by halftime, the outcome was not in doubt.

This was not the case, however, before the opening tipoff. Things were tense. Like very, very tense, and LeBron wanted to make sure he was still cool with at least one person in the arena: former sidekick Mo Williams. You remember Mo, right? He’s the guy who famously (and publicly) went through the five stages of grief after LeBron left Cleveland.

So LeBron wanted to make sure he and Mo were, you know, still cool.

“Oh, hey Mo, what’s up, just wanted to say-”

“Oh. Well then, I’ll just walk gingerly back to my layup line.”

Soon, however, the Heat’s talent became too much for the Cavs, and Miami went on their run.

With the matchup essentially becoming a glorified layup exhibition two quarters in, LeBron wanted to alleviate any lingering tension with his other former teammates by joking with them on the bench.

Which is something that Cavs assistant Jamahl Mosley didn’t take kindly to.

It should be mentioned that Mosley was not around when James was, so he has absolutely no allegiance to the guy. But with so much being made about James and his former teammates, and how they should just ignore him, Mosley’s (unnoticed) “shut the fuck up” can be seen as a small consolation for Ohioans this morning.
