Celtics Pay Tribute To The New England Patriots By “Snapping” The Opening Tip

Well this is certainly one way for the Boston Celtics to show the New England Patriots some love, after their Super Bowl run ended last weekend with a loss to the New York Giants.
After winning the opening tip in tonight’s game against the Lakers, Kevin Garnett took the ball and “snapped” it between his legs to Rajon Rondo. Yes, he made a football move. Celtics fans are hoping the tribute ends there and the final score doesn’t also somehow reflect the Patriots’ effort against the Giants.
