The Clippers Might Have Set The Record For The Quickest Alley-Oop In NBA History Last Night

You have to believe that the “Lob City” Los Angeles Clippers are now playing just to make their opponents look bad. With alley-oop after alley-oop, this team is going to single-handidly fill up an entire poster store (do they still have those?) with inventory.

Tonight, against they Utah Jazz, the team got off to an early start, with their first alley-oop of the evening coming right off the opening tip. They wasted absolutely no time in getting the game off on the right foot. Naturally, the Clippers weren’t done there, going back-to-back on lobs, within the first few possessions of the game. This is getting ridiculous.

Here’s the first one:

Chris Paul to Blake Griffin is becoming a nightly norm, which is no surprise. I think what really gets people is that defenses can’t seem to figure out how to stop the backdoor lobs. It’s not as if they don’t know they’re coming or anything. I mean, fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, now I’m just not paying attention. Here are the back-to-back alley-oops, courtesy of, you guessed it, Paul and Griffin (and, not to be outdone, Paul to DeAndre Jordan):

HORRIBLE LINK. Once again Yahoo Sports needs a story and misdirects us to a boring play and no that would not be the quickest alley-oop ya non-story non-players of basketball
