What They’re Talking About: Two Buzzer Beaters In NBA Action (Videos)
We love whenever Blake Griffin has a game. Not only is constant chance he’ll do something spectacular thrilling as a fan, it’s also thrilling as someone who has a site, and can therefore share that spectacular moment with the world at large. But last night, he struggled, shooting just 6-of-17. And though LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were impressive in leading the Heat to a 111-98 road win over the Jazz, there was nothing quite like this.
So who would step in to fill our NBA highlight void? Enter Derek Fisher, Andrew Bogut, and a couple great finishes. Both scored on last-second game-winning shots last night – Fisher’s gave the Lakers an 87-86 win over the aforementioned Griffin and the Clippers, while Bogut’s perfectly executed tip-in (video below) led the Bucks to a 97-95 victory.
Fisher’s no stranger to late-game heroics, of course, while Bogut’s play reminded us of this (though sadly, Bogut’s tip didn’t have the added bonus of Gus Johnson). We are glad, however, that Bogut found people to celebrate with this time.
