Gilbert Arenas Continues His Campaign To Become Athlete Most Hated By Women

Ever since Gilbert Arenas resurrected his Twitter, he’s been putting it to use in ways as odd as you’d expect. Sometimes, though, the tweets have gone beyond odd and into uncomfortable territory, even if he’s trying to just mess around. Well, now Arenas has a new Twitter photo. It’s (supposedly) from his Blackberry. And…I’m just going to put a picture of it here, because I’m not totally sure what else to do.

 

Those categories…they’re…okay. Once again, Arenas is clearly (attempting to be) joking (note the “haha”), or there’s something he’s not serious about (possibly his entire life). The categories may well all be entirely made up. Maybe he’s intentionally becoming a caricature of the misogynistic guy his tweets at times made – and sometimes still make – him appear to be. I really, honestly do not know.

What I do know is that when Arenas tweets the following after showing us that beyond-words Blackberry screen…

For my new Victims those are the categories so let me know where u want to be placed!!like Harry Potter”sweetie u are now a HUFFLEPUFF lol

…saying “victims” just makes him sound creepy, “lol” added at the end or no “lol.” I have no idea what Arenas is going for with this stuff. Getting a laugh, sure, but is there anything serious behind it? Maybe it’s not worth thinking too much about. This is about as much as I can figure out: Arenas can be a genuinely funny, entertaining guy. Tweets like that aren’t how that comes through.
