Another Friday night, another quality NBA double-header on ESPN. This Friday night brought us Miami-Memphis and Oklahoma City-Denver and neither matchup would disappoint as both games were decided in the final seconds. Who was the hero? Who was the goat? Heat snap Grizzlies’ eight-game win streak, extend their own to 13

LeBron James shot just 4 for 14 in his worst shooting night of the season, but he showed up in the fourth quarter, hitting a clutch three with 24 seconds left to ice clinch the win for Miami as the Heat defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 98-91.

Despite the poor shooting night, James finished with 18 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds. Dwyane Wade also added 22 points and eight assists for the Heat. Memphis was led by Marc Gasol with 24 points and nine rebounds in the loss.

Nuggets snag last-second win over Thunder on Lawson three

Another game, another clutch shot. This one comes from Denver’s Ty Lawson, whose jumper with 0.2 seconds left handed the Nuggets a 105-103 win over Oklahoma City.

In the win, Denver overcame a big scoring night from Russell Westbrook (38 points) and a big overall night from Kevin Durant (25 points, 14 rebounds) thanks to a big night from their own Wilson Chandler, who shot 13 for 19, including 6 for 7 on threes, en route to a 35-point performance to lead the Nuggets.
