Report: Jeremy Lin Will Be A Rocket

It’s just past 4:00 p.m., and the Knicks still have close to eight hours to officially make a decision on Jeremy Lin. Apparently, they won’t need all of that time.
Howard Beck of The New York Times is reporting the Knicks are done deliberating, and Lin will not be re-signed by the team.
Posting momentarily to nytimes.com: Lin will be a Rocket. Knicks deliberations over.

The Knicks had the option of matching Houston’s offer sheet, which pays Lin close to $25 million over the next three years. However, New York signed veteran free agent point guard Jason Kidd, and agreed to a sign-and-trade for Raymond Felton. Lin, 23 years old, has made 25 career starts, all of which came last season for the Knicks.
