Watch Jimmer Fredette’s Brother Rap To A Group Of Nonplussed NYC Streetball Fans

A week ago, the drafting of Jimmer Fredette was met with much excitement by Sacramento Kings fans everywhere. Yesterday, Jimmer’s brother, T.J. Fredette, attempted to bring similar excitement to a crowd at a streetball game in New York, but wasn’t nearly as successful.

If you haven’t heard by now, T.J. is an aspiring rapper and he’s even performed at halftime during some of Jimmer’s games at BYU. And while T.J.’s performances were usually met with a warm reaction from the Jimmer-crazed BYU audiences, it was a different story at Dyckman Park on Wednesday night, when T.J. mostly received blank stares, what sounded like boos (hey, they could have been “ooohs”), and an overall tone of indifference.

We wonder if T.J.’s appearances were a part of a special provision added into the contract that Jimmer signed for him back when he was in high school.
