Former UCLA Stars Kevin Love And Russell Westbrook Spend The Lockout…Back At School

Love and Westbrook are both, of course, successful NBA players now, but at the moment they're locked out of being NBA players. What to do, with all this newfound time on their hands? Westbrook:

That tweet earned some immediate praise, though it’s unclear as to whether any of the love was ironically directed at the “too.” (As for #whynot, that’s a reference to #whynot Wednesday, wherein Westbrook retweets a ton of people who are doing things today because…you get the idea.) But was Westbrook serious? A subsequent tweet from Love made it look that way:

Lest you not believe that, either, Love submitted this photo as evidence:

It’s like a cross between Back to School (Love and Westbrook making up for the college experience they missed out on the first time around) and Chevy Chase’s character on Community (these guys legitimately have no more pressing ways to spend their time right now). Good on ‘em, we say – really, do you have any better ideas as to what these guys could do right now? And really, it’ll be tough for the owners to win the lockout PR battle when players – good players – are spending their free time going to school.
