LeBron Gets Mini-Gatorade Bath From A Displeased Celtics Fan After A Transcendent Game 6

For what LeBron James did to the Celtics tonight, he deserves a entire cooler full of delicious sports drink to be poured over his head. But all he got was a spraying from what we must assume to be a pissed off Bostonian, who did not feel this was a good job nor a good effort. It was meant as an insult, but it feels like victory for the King.

Here’s the official line: 45 points on 19-26 shooting, 15 rebounds and 5 assists in 45 minutes. Riding the King’s outstanding play, the Heat blew out the Celtics at home 98-79 to force a Game 7 back in Miami. Who saw that coming after the way the Celtics stunned the Heat two days ago?

But things like good sportsmanship, which is bred into the children of South Beach, apparently hasn’t spread to everyone in Boston. One fan in particular wanted to show LeBron how much he hated the King’s outstanding play, by means of throwing a liquid on him. The surprise attack came from above, where the King could not see him. Quite a cowardly move from the unidentified drink-tosser. This person certainly would not have done that if LeBron wasn’t halfway down the tunnel. But LeBron shrugs it off, like he has with so many haters in the past, and took it the way a winner does: as a tiny bath of triumph.

Good sportsmanship is bred into the kids of South Beach and not Boston. How would someone know that. I like that your don’t talk about the good fans that stayed till the end and cheered louder than any south beach crowd when the Celts were down 20.
