Luke Ridnour Caps Off Timberwolves’ Huge Comeback With A Game-Winning Floater

With the Jazz and Timberwolves tied at 98-98, it seemed as if the game was about to go into overtime, as J.J. Barea got stuck at the top of the key and was quickly doubled-up in the final seconds of the game. Enter, Luke Ridnour.
With just a second to go on the clock, Ridnour threw up a one-handed floater that seemed to stay in the air forever, before falling ever-so softly through the net. Game, blouses Timberwolves. And just like that — and deservedly so — the bench celebrated like they’ve never been there before, since, well, they really did earn this win. The T-Wolves stormed back from down 18 points in the fourth quarter — ‘Nuff said. They played hard, so in turn they certainly get to celebrate just as hard.
“Boom! Cool. Hand. Luke. Scores.” Great call there. Fun fact: the Timberwolves now have as many wins through 34 games as they did through 82 games last season. Just something to think about.
