Manu Ginobili Takes Out Anger Over Interrupted Nap Time on Warriors

Apparently Manu Ginobili is part Incredible Hulk, because you don’t want to see him when he’s angry. And even though it was a member of the staff at the San Antonio Spurs’ hotel who woke up the Argentine guard from a nap, it was Monta Ellis, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors who suffered his wrath.

As Ginobili tweeted yesterday before the game:

And now, Ginobili’s line from the box score: 8-13 from the field, 8-9 from the line, six rebounds and 27 points. (The Spurs won 118-98.)

The Spurs are still surging early this season and moved to a league best 15-2 on the back of Manu’s inspired performance. The team has not commented on whether or not they will hire any of the hotel staff to permanently be Ginobili’s unrequested wake-up call.
