Disrespectful? Last Night, The Mavericks Partied At Miami’s Biggest Club, And Let Everyone Hold The Trophy

After winning the NBA title, the Dallas Mavericks did something that, in another NBA city, would be seen as a sign of disrespect: they went to LIV, Miami’s most popular nightclub… with the Larry O’Brien trophy. Bottles were popped. Rappers were partied with. Photos were taken.

Had this happened in Boston, LA, or New York, it’s unlikely that Dirk Nowitzki, Mark Cuban, and the rest of the Mavs would have left in one piece. In Miami? Well, even some members of the Heat were at the their victory party.

Here are some photos of the Mavs’ final tapdance on the Heat’s grave. Lil’ Wayne was there. And Mark Cuban apparently ordered a very, very large bottle of alcohol. Oh, and then later that night, he slept with the trophy.
