Nets Owner Fires Back At Mavs Owner Mark Cuban For Calling Him A “Pussy”

Perhaps you’ve heard – Mavericks owner Mark Cuban called Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov a pussy yesterday. Sure, reports indicated the remark was “clearly made in jest,” but still – Mikhail Prokhorov! Pussy! You’d say that about this man, even as a joke? Cuban’s got some stones.

Well, today, Prokhorov responded. Did he wreak terrible vengeance? Did he issue a vague, veiled, creepy threat in the style of a movie villain? Well, no, but it was still a pretty good reply.

“I think Mark has it wrong,” Prokhorov said. “I don’t like cats.”

Ah, he’s a quick-witted one, that Prokhorov…and hey, maybe not as intimidating as he looks, with a light-hearted crack like that. BUT WAIT. What’s if he’s simply luring Cuban into a trap, with good humor? Let’s not forget, Cuban didn’t stop at “pussy,” he also said:

“(Prokhorov) doesn’t come to games. Who the hell knows?”

We have to admit, we still enjoy imagining Prokhorov quietly seething at Cuban’s taunts, though in reality, he clearly sees them for the jokes they are. BUT WAIT. What did Prokhorov say again?

“I think Mark has it wrong,” Prokhorov said. “I don’t like cats.”

A-HA! He doesn’t like cats, does he? That means he doesn’t like this:

He’s a MONSTER AFTER ALL! Watch your back, Cuban.
