Oh, There You Are Derek Fisher: Lakers Take 2-1 Series Lead (Video)
Throughout the playoffs, all we’ve heard about Derek Fisher is how much of a liability he is defensively. For all of his wily caginess and old-man YMCA trickery, Fisher simply couldn’t stay in front of anyone through the first three rounds.
Well, not only was Fisher strong defensively last night (he held the Celtics he guarded to 1 of 11 from the field), he proved he’s still relevant in big-game situations. Fisher scored 11 points in the 4th quarter, as the Lakers won 91-84.
With a 2-1 lead, things suddenly don’t seem so gloom-and-doom for the Lake Show. Here’s the recap:
