NBA Playoff Commercials Continue To Be Awesome
For those of you that are less than pscyhed for tonight’s offensively challenged battle between Philadelphia and Boston, here’s a way for you to get the juices flowing. If there’s one thing the NBA brass has a knack for, it’s commercials for the NBA Playoffs. This year, they brought back Larry Bird and Magic Johnson to detail just what basketball is about, what it’s all for.

Will LeBron snag that elusive ring? Will Kevin Durant and the young Thunder squad nab its first title? Will the not-so-decrepit body of Tim Duncan grab title No. 5 and *gulp* tie Kobe Bryant? Will the original Big Three from Boston rise from the grave and legitimize the short-lived dynasty we all predicted a mere four years ago? If you want, I can make a prediction based on biased stats that are sure to find their factual counterpoint somewhere in the bog of sabermetrics. But I’d rather not. Instead, I’ll sit back and soak in Game 7 for the glory – missed shots, charges and all.
