NBA Star Gets VERY Excited For Teammate’s Alley-Oop (Video)
The Dallas Mavericks played last night’s game against the Toronto Raptors without star Dirk Nowitzki, and it didn’t go too well – the Raptors, 10-10 going into the game, beat the Mavericks (24-5 before last night), 84-76. It wasn’t a total loss for those watching the game on television, however, because Nowitzki joined the game’s announcers to provide some commentary during the third quarter. And if you have high hopes for Dirk’s announcing potential, we are pleased to inform you that they are not misplaced.
His objectivity, of course, was another story, but hey – he’s still a Mavericks player, so we’d expect him to be biased. And his pro-Mavs slant led to the best moment of his announcing stint, anyway – when Tyson Chandler provided the Mavs one of their few highlights of the game with a thunderous alley-oop, Dirk couldn’t contain his glee. It was loud. It was proud. It was startling, possibly, if you were sitting next to him (or watching the game). Wtahc – and listen – above. Don’t say we didn’t warn you about the loudness.
