Will President Obama Ever Wear The Air Jordans Spike Lee Gave To Him?

Spike Lee tweeted out the following photo last night, in which he was seen giving President Barack Obama a pair of the not-yet-released Air Jordan Spizike “Bordeaux.” The shoe’s are a mouthful, and they’re also an eyeful.

Our question: will the Commander-in-chief ever wear these potentially polarizing pair of Jordans in public? We say they’re polarizing, not because they feature the “40 Acres and a Mule” logo of Lee’s production company, but because they look like a clown blew his brains out on a pair of sneakers.

They’re colorful, in other words, and with the election fast approaching, they’d definitely turn heads. But we don’t see Obama wearing these during, say, a pickup game/photo-op with the North Carolina Tar Heels. We think they’re more “hang ‘em up on the wall” material than anything else.
