As expected, Stan Van Gundy won’t be coaching the Orlando Magic next season. The team announced that the mustachioed Diet Coke indulger and awkward bro hug aficionado has been relieved of his duties. More, after the jump.

When we last left Adam Morrison, he was rotting on the bench in LA. Then, he went to Turkey for awhile, and we kind of forgot about him. Welp, look who just waltzed his way back into our lives.

He is the sports tyke that captivated a nation by impersonating Blake Griffin at press conferences, and even though his dad’s team was eliminated from the playoffs last night, Lil’ CP3′s 2012 run will be remembered as one of the dominant (and adorable!) playoff runs in recent memory.

With the pressure on, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade produced a game – or at least a second half – beyond reproach. LeB ron did things that haven’t been done in a half century. If you’ve seen the Thunder play at home during these playoffs, then you’ve been treated to perhaps the best crowd in the NBA. If you haven’t, I urge you to check them out: it’s like watching 10,000 supportive parents (10,000 supportive parents who actually know what’s going on).

Case in point: this group of OKC fans, who waited at the airport until 5:30 in the morning — after the team plane was delayed because of a thunderstorm — to greet the Thunder after beating the Lakers in Game 4. The team came over to say hi, folks went crazy, and the relationship between this city and this team is perhaps the tightest one in sports right now.

It was pretty clear early on in the teams’ Western Conference semifinal series that the Spurs were too good for the Clippers. Sooner or later, they were going to send them home, and last night, they made sure it was “sooner.” But the Clippers didn’t make it easy – thanks in part to this shot.

That’s a nasty looking cut on Blake Griffin’s lip, and nobody is accusing him of flopping on this play.

Video has surfaced of the argument that Juwan Howard and Lance Stephenson got into prior to game 4 between the Heat and the Pacers, and although it’s pretty tame, you can see the tension escalate.

Things are starting to pick up for the Miami Heat. After trailing at the half, LeBron and Dwayne Wade helped their team take a third quarter lead with some aggressive play (and shots that actually go in the basket). Blake Griffin added Tim Duncan to his ever-growing list of “People I’ve Thrown It Down On” during a prolific second quarter that saw the Clippers all but wrap it up on Spurs. Thankfully for San Antonio, there were two more quarters to play — and Duncan’s crew made the most of them. Blake may have had the left-handed slam, but Tim had a big block and, now, a 3-0 series lead.
