America: Who Was More Miserable At Last Night’s Finals Game, Pat Riley Or Lil Wayne?

You probably noticed, during last night’s 105-94 Thunder win in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, that ABC at one point panned to Pat Riley and Alonzo Mourning, alone in suits in a sea of Thunder fans. It brought to mind the zoom-in on Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak as his team was about to be eliminated in the same building earlier in the playoffs… and Riley, like Kupchak, looked really unhappy. But while the Kupchak comparison is natural, today we’re opting to compare Riley to someone else who was at Chesapeake Energy Arena last night, and also didn’t look pleased with the goings-on there: rapper Lil Wayne. Have a side-by-side look:

Of coursr Riley had ample reason to be upset… but was Lil Wayne really as miserable as he looks there? Yes, apparently. And it sounds like his run-ins with the Thunder organization weren’t a one-shot deal, either:

Hey, cheer up, Weezy – at least Rafa Nadal won the French Open. So who looked more like they would have rather been anywhere else on earth last night: Riley or Lil Wayne? Let us know.

Lil Wayne, maybe you were treated like s!it because no one cares WHO you are in OKC.

I heard Lil Wayne was upset because he had to use the regular entrance to the arena like everyone else. Get over yourself, fool.

Every ticket holder enters through one of three doors.  VIP’s can enter through a smaller set of doors, because it’s generally closer to the good seats and suites, however any ticket holder can go through that entrance too.  In OKC, everyone is treated equally, don’t like it? Don’t come here!

Everybody is treated equally in Oklahoma it doesn’t matter if your are a celebrity or not. If you don’t like the way that you were treated don’t come here.  The Thunder staff have more important things to worry about than to cater to one celebrity. Get over yourself Lil’ Wayne you buy a ticket you are treated like everybody else.  THUNDER UP!!!!!!

How starved for attention is this man?  ridiculous.

  • OSUThunderUP

Geez, who does he think he is?  Garth Brooks?

Lil’ Wayne… get the F over it… YOU AREN’T SPECIAL! Hopefully next time, someone will beat the sh!t out of you.

If he’s looking for ass kissing people who are influenced by fame, he’s in the wrong place.  He doesn’t want us to win.  He doesn’t want the world thinking we are cut from the same fabric as people in his world.  It doesn’t matter to us. We came to play basketball.  Our actions speak for themselves. And so does Mr. Waynes.

Forget Lil wayne, who cares.  The shot of Pat Riley standing there like a zombie in some average seats, surrounded by cheering OKC fans was priceless.

OK so has anyone actually heard what happened?  I have heard a couple of rumors but that is it.  But what is horrible about this , is this little twerp of a person has managed to take attention away from a great basket ball game a put it on himself.

  • Chuckyp3

I’m from Chicago and it pisses me off when clubs and venue owners KISS THE ASS of the Hollywood folk, pro athletes and rappers that set foot thru Chicago from time to time when these tools aren’t on the coasts.  I hope Wayne’s bodyguard gets beat down in OKC next game LMAO!  Lil Wayne looks like a fucking diseased monkey.

  • Drj902

I see a lot of “we” and “us,” but I don’t think there anybody on the Zombie Sonics named Sam.

  • MatthewMoFo

Lil’ Wayne ? He’s no Rit Mathis.

  • Anonymous

But what if it’s Sam Presti?!?!?!

  • Msneworleans31

People relax, Lil Wayne doesn’t mean to make hit record after hit record! The goal is breaking world records!!!! Lil Wayne has been in the game for a long time now, he knows how to hear and don’t hear! Only 1 life for everyone. Ymcb & family, don’t make money, don’t make sense!!!

  • Msneworleans31

We love Lil Wayne, support him and stick by him as our own 100% . If he don’t feel wanted as his fans we don’t neither go heat! go heat!! go heat!!!

  • Jazmine

Umm I could be wrong BUT USUALLY famous people are treated with some degree of extra attention. They are famous, and so is Lil Wayne. If OKC is too much of a little country bumpkin town to realize this then I guess life goes on.

  • Jazmine

Don’t like it? Become famous, or shut up.

  • Jazmine

Also it doesn’t matter because OKC lost sooooo
