Rihanna Finally Leaves Abusive Relationship, Chooses Nets Over Knicks
Singer Rihanna has finally chosen to leave an abusive, one-sided relationship that friends, family, and fans have been begging her to abandon for years. She is leaving the New York Knicks.
Her new team? The Brooklyn Nets.
Rihanna made her intentions known at the opening of the Barclays Center, the Nets’ new home arena, Thursday night.
“I have to support the Nets, they’re part of my clique!” she told Confidenti@l Thursday night.
Okay, so maybe her decision is more shallow than what we’re giving her credit for, but good for her! It takes a lot of strength and courage on her part to make this decision, and I, for one, am proud of her. Go to hell, Knicks. Take your fat superstar and Mr. Potato Head coach and get out of our face! We’re with the Nets now and we’ve never been happier. #TeamRiRi
Here’s hoping she doesn’t do anything silly, like forget why she left the Knicks in the first place and go crawling back just because they manage to win more than one playoff game in eleven seasons.
