Hugging Celine Dion Made Ron Artest’s Nipples Freeze

If you’re a especially devoted Ron Artest/Metta World Peace acolyte, you might remember an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last year in which Artest mentioned that Celine Dion is his favorite singer, but he’d never met her. So if you happened to notice Artest’s new Twitter photo, not to mention a string of tweets last night (as our friends at Gossip Cop did), you’ll understand just how big a night Artest had: not only did he attend a Celine show, he met the woman in the flesh, and apparently the goodwill is mutual:

I’m at Celine dion concert! Backstage!! Wow!!! Me and my boys!! Wow!!! She said she love my Jimmy Kimmel show when I had my beard on!!!!!!!!

A far cry from Artest’s prediction at the time that the singer would be freaked out by Artest’s love for her. And of course he wasn’t done sharing details there:

Celine made me and all my thug friends cry with the French song!!!! She cried !!! Wow!!!! She hugged me !! I got chills!! My nipples froze!

And he followed that up with a picture of his entire group with Dion. And re: frozen nipples, our take: Artest was recently in an odd situation involving him perhaps sharing a bit too much via Twitter. This time: just enough. Oh, and this tweet…
