Fan Who Wore LeBron Jersey To Cleveland Indians Game Last Year Attacked

A year after he had to be escorted from a Cleveland Indians game because he chose to wear a LeBron James Miami Heat jersey to Progressive Field on the heels of The Decision, Matthew Bellamy is in serious condition in a Toledo, Ohio hospital, after he was attacked after leaving a bar on Monday.

Bellamy, 30, was allegedly attacked by 23-year-old Robert Horton. According to the Sandusky Register, witnesses said that Horton struck Bellamy three times, and that Bellamy did not fight back upon being hit.

According to the police report, Bellamy and a group of friends left Louie’s Bar in Toledo and stopped at a house to drop something off. After arriving at the house, a car pulled up behind them, and Horton got out, yelled something at the group, and then went straight for Bellamy.
