John Stockton Cannot Be Pleased With His Son Shooting An Air Ball From The Free-Throw Line
John Stockton certainly has his “proud papa” moments, one of which, I imagine, came when his son David, who plays for his alma mater, helped the Gonzaga Bulldogs play their way into the NCAA Tournament. Then again, you always have to be careful what you wish for. Had the Bulldogs not made the tourney then, well, we wouldn’t have to had seen this embarrassing moment.
Just as a frame of reference, John Stockton shot 82 percent from the free-throw line over his Hall of Fame NBA career. Sure, he wasn’t perfect, but I for one can’t recall him ever air balling a free throw. Now David, on the other hand, well he’s likely going to get a super intense staring when he gets home tonight. Such is the Stockton way.
