Marshall Henderson Trolls Twitter Followers With New SEC Championship Ring

Mississippi’s Marshall Henderson has never met a shot he didn’t like, but there are plenty of Twitter followers he doesn’t care for. Henderson is, how shall we say it, a polarizing figure. So when the Rebels received their SEC title rings recently, he decided to get out on Twitter with a few photos.

It had the desired result. Where are the haters? Right here.

This is indeed a moment of triumph for Henderson: he bounced around to three colleges — including one junior college — before landing at Mississippi. He was the leading scorer in the SEC, averaging 20.1 ppg as a junior, leading Ole Miss to the third round of the NCAA Tournament, where the Rebels lost to LaSalle, 76-74.

Opinions differ on whether Henderson has the mental maturity to be successful after college. Should a 22-year-old college kid have “haterzzzz”? Probably not.

Anyway, Henderson and teammates celebrated after getting their rings, and it was just as subdued as his tweets.
