Did Bill Raftery Just Say “Send It In With That Boner!” During A Televised Basketball Game?

Iowa State’s Royce White slammed it home against Kentucky in their third-round NCAA tournament game Saturday night, causing CBS’ Bill Raftery to excitedly encourage White to do something. Some people heard “Send it in with that boner!” Others heard “Send it in with that motor!”

I’m not going to mince words here, America. If indeed Bill Raftery just said “Send it in with that boner,” it is instantly launched into the pantheon of all-time great slam dunk calls. If he said “Send it in with that motor!” then it’s merely a spectacular dunk, punctuated by excited Bill Raftery.

Boner? Motor? You decide.
