Arkansas’ Tevin Mitchel Taken Off On A Stretcher After Collision

For the second time today, a player has been injured in a helmet-to-helmet collision with a teammate and taken off the field on a cart and stretcher, we hope Tevin Mitchel will be ok. Video after the jump.

On a key 3rd down in the 4th quarter of a one score game with Louisiana Monroe, Arkansas cornerback Tevin Mitchel collided with linebacker Alonzo Highsmith, who was fortunate to be able to walk away from the collision. Mitchel was reported by doctors to ESPN as “verbally responsive” on the field.
