A Cartoonishly Long Tipped Pass Helped Baylor Shock Oklahoma

Baylor scored a huge 45-38 win over Oklahoma tonight, and one of the wackiest touchdowns we can remember seeing is partly to thank. Trailing 24-17 in the third quarter, Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin threw an 87-yard touchdown pass to receiver Kendall Wright. You might see that and think, “Man, that Griffin is something else.” And you’d be right – RGIII is phenomenal. But the most phenomenal thing about this play ws the fact that the ball was tipped, then bounced over 15 yards forward in the air before finally landing in Wright’s hands. Hey, Baylor will take it. And it bears repeating: Robert Griffin (479 yards passing, 72 rushing) is out of this world.
