Every Oregon Ducks Uniform From This Season, From The Good To The Ugly

The Oregon Ducks’ football uniforms are always in a state of flux. Like a really rich teenager at her sweet sixteen, the Ducks can never quite decide what they want to wear and often go through several costume changes over the course of a season. In fact, the team has a possible 384 uniform combinations at their disposable, which is 382 more than most other teams in the country. Fierce.

How on earth could a top-flight college football team become a fashion guinea pig? It may have to do with Tinker Hatfield, Nike’s vice president of innovation (and the designer behind the Air Jordan shoe line). Hatfield is an Oregon alum and is often behind the university’s eccentric and bold design choices. Recently, he turned their basketball court into a forest.

Sometimes the unis are a thing of beauty (the all-blacks, the all-whites with silver trimming). And sometimes, they fail spectacularly (bright yellow? Eghk!). But they’re always talked about.

Here now is every Oregon Duck uniform of 2010, including what they’ll wear tonight against Auburn in the national title game.
