TCU Coach Gary Patterson Didn’t Take That Gatorade Bath Too Well (Photo)

TCU defeated Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl today, 21-19. It was a monumental win for the Horned Frogs, and TCU coach Gary Patterson certainly relished it (as his postgame comments made clear), but there was one moment, shown above, he didn’t seem to enjoy quite as much.

No, the ceremonial Gatorade bath was not too kind to Patterson. His players initially tried to douse him during the game’s closing seconds, but he noticed them coming up from behind and ordered them to hold off on it. However, he clearly still wasn’t ready when they finally got him. Just look at that face. As far as reasons to have a bucket of cold liquid dumped on your head against your wishes goes, though, this is way up there.
