Iowa Dusted Off The Trick Play Book, Let Loose A Flea Flicker

When’s the last time you saw a flea flicker, let alone one that worked? Update your records, because Iowa ran one today against Minnesota to perfection.
Not that Iowa really needed the flea flicker. They were up 10-0 in the second quarter when they ran it, and are currently up 24-7 in the fourth quarter, likely on their way to victory.
Still, nothing beats a good, old-fashioned trick play. And as far as trick plays go, the flea flicker is one that you rarely see ran, let alone ran well. Watch as Iowa takes us all back to flea flicker school.
That was as by-the-book as you’ll see. Good job, Iowa.
