Michigan Catfished Its Own Athletes To Educate Them, And It Was Probably Humiliating

Michigan athletic director Dave Brandon will not have his Michigan Men be fall prey to any catfishing schemes. Maybe a Notre Dame Man might be affected, but no Michigan Man will succumb to their allure if he has anything to do with it. So in the aftermath of the Manti Te’o situation, Brandon took action.
The plan was likely effective:
Brandon said the athletic department catfished several athletes to teach them the dangers of social networking. Very interesting.

On the UM catfishing: They had an attractive female contact athletes on social media. Some athlete responses were wholly inappropriate.

Brandon had meeting with players, and the girl walked in. Athletes were shocked, but it was valuable lesson in dangers of social media.

See, it’s not really catfishing, because the girl is real. (I learned that at Michigan.)
I’m sure there was some really weird stuff that made Brandon chuckle behind closed doors. This sounds like a really effective way of educating players, but it was probably also really embarrassing. If someone transfers soon, that means he probably sent a dick pic.
