N.C. State Advertisement Features Awkward Quarterback, Kids With Great Hands

NC State just put out an advertisement to get fans to buy football tickets, and it’s pathetic. The slogan: “Now that’s how State fans tailgate. It’s a blatant lie. They don’t tailgate with the players, in uniform, in formation, throwing hot dogs. This is an outrage, deceiving loyal fans. Watch the video:

I feel bad for Mike Glennon, NC State’s starting quarterback. The team embarrasses him with this video, and he can’t even be paid for it. He’s a decent player, but clearly, when he “goes pro in something other than sports,” he shouldn’t try acting. These kids have good hands, though. Wonder how many takes they needed to catch those hot dogs. They’re not even wearing receiver gloves. Sign ‘em up.

Glennon does look like he knows his way around a grill, though. Maybe he has a future as a chef. And the announcer is solid. He’s going places.
