Victim 9 Says His Cries For Help Went Unanswered By Jerry Sandusky’s Wife

12 new counts of child sexual abuse were leveled against Jerry Sandusky from two new accusers, who are being referred to as Victims 9 and 10. With those new charges comes a new grand jury report, and like the first grand jury report on Jerry Sandusky, there are a ton of disturbing accusations found in it.

One of those accusations: Victim 9 says that Jerry Sandusky’s wife, Dorothy, either didn’t hear or didn’t respond to his screams for help from the basement of their State College home. From the new grand jury report:

“The victim testified that on at least one occasion he screamed for help, knowing that Sandusky’s wife was upstairs, but no one ever came to help him,” the presentment says.

Victim 9 is now 18. According to the grand jury report, he met Sandusky through Second Mile from 2004-2008. The first time he met Sandusky was during a “pool activity,” when he was 11 or 12 years old. Sandusky approached him and asked him about his hobbies and interests, and expressed interest in spending more time with him in the future and asked for his phone number (ugh). Sandusky called Victim 9′s mother, and made arrangements to spend more time with him.

Victim 9 testifies that he began spending time at the Sandusky home.

Victim 9 was always told, without exception, to sleep in the basement bedroom. Victim 9 testified that Sandusky specifically told him to stay in the basement unless otherwise directed.

It was in the basement, Victim 9 says, where he was brought all of his meals while staying with the Sanduskys. According to Victim 9, he had “barely any contact” with Sandusky’s wife. She never came in the basement while he was there.

It was also in the basement where many of the alleged sexual assaults took place. The victim testified that Sandusky performed oral sex on him. He testified Sandusky tried to rape him on at least 16 occasions and at times did penetrate him.
