West Virgina And Baylor Hate Defense

They say the best offense is a good defense. But as West Virginia and Baylor are proving today, “they” are wrong and dumb.

This afternoon’s game between the two offensive juggernauts sits tied at halftime, 35-35. The West Virginia and Baylor offenses have combined for ten touchdowns and 736 yards, highlighted by the outstanding efforts by their quarterbacks. Baylor’s Nick Florence already has 296 yards passing and two touchdowns on just 11 completions, while West Virginia’s Geno Smith has 288 yards, four touchdowns, and has completed 26 of 28 passes, including this 47-yard bomb to Stedman Bailey for the score.

We’ll see if both teams can keep up this Madden-esque touchdown fest in the second half.
