Chip Kelly Won’t Be The Next Coach Of The Tampa Bay Buccaneers After All

Last night, it looked like one of the more surprising college-to-NFL coaching jumps in some time was happening, and that Oregon coach Chip Kelly was taking his high-octane offense to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. And then…he wasn’t. According to Bucs GM Mark Dominik, Kelly’s “heart is with college football,” and with that, those “The NCAA must be coming down hard on Oregon soon” theories will die down. We have no clue how Kelly would have done in the NFL – he’s never coached in the pros – but watching him try to adapt would have been intriguing. (Photo via)
