Crying Tim Tebow Graces Cover Of NCAA Football 11 In Alabama
Some Alabama-area Gamestop stores have apparently inserted their own custom covers on copies of EA Sports’ NCAA Football 11 featuring a weeping Tim Tebow.
If you’ll remember, Tebow cried like a 240-pound baby following Florida’s loss to Alabama in last year’s SEC championship game. Truth be told, it was a tough moment for Florida, and not the type of way one of the greatest college football player’s ever wanted to end his career. The internet, however, showed no mercy.
Tebow, for his part, moved on from that crushing loss by steamrolling Cincinnati in the Sugar Bowl, then getting picked in the first round of the NFL draft by the Denver Broncos.
Gamestop managers in Alabama aren’t quite ready to do that.
Here was the cover that was inserted into display copies of NCAA Football 11 (which features Tebow as cover boy) in some Tuscaloosa-area Gamestops:

Crushing.
For context, here is Tebow’s interview following that loss to Alabama:
