Detroit Lions DT Nick Fairley Was Arrested, But He Won’t Let That Ruin His Mood

Alabama State Troopers arrested Lions defensive tackle Nick Fairley shortly after 1:00 a.m. early this morning (or last night, depending on your bedtime), charging him with DUI and attempting to elude police. This marks the second run-in with the law in two months for Fairley, as he was arrested for possession of marijuana on April 3rd. Further trouble for the Lions emerged only a week ago, as Lions WR Titus Young punched S Louis Delmas during practice for reasons unknown.

At least according to his mugshot, Fairley seems delightfully oblivious. Or, he merely confused his high school yearbook photo with his current predicament. Either way, we can only hope that the Lions don’t come down with a case of the Minnesota Vikings.
