Dez Bryant’s Mom Thought He Was Trying To Kill Her, According To 911 Call

The police report on the incident at Dez Bryant’s mother’s house over the weekend has been released, and it’s more disturbing than we initially anticipated.

According to the report from the DeSoto Police Department, Angela Bryant told officers that her son “hit her across the face with a ball cap, pulled her hair, tore her shirt and bra, and repeatedly struck her hands and wrists when she tried to push him away.”

That’s obviously bad enough. But what makes it all the more alarming is it sounds like this isn’t the first time Dez Bryant has done something like this.

From the 911 call placed by Angela Bryant:

“Babe, I can’t keep letting him do this. … I can’t let him do me like this. I’m tired. I’m going to put an end to it today,” the 37–year-old woman can be heard telling someone else in the room.

Also from the call:

“He won’t go home. I keep telling him to go home. He won’t go,” she tells the dispatcher as a man can be heard yelling in the background.

More details on the report are here, courtesy of the Star-Telegram. The charges carry a maximum of a year in prison and a $4,000 fine. Much more likely than either of those things, though, is a suspension from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.

I did not say that. It’s the sportsguru. My friend is trying to create controversy on purpose.

…Some people get real mean when they drink…
..And some get real mean when they visit their Mother…etc…

I DO believe that Dez” mom has a history of being a drug addict (as well as his father), as well as being a prostitute, etc……I don’t believe that people should take her at her word.  If for nothing else, check out the ages of the two people, mother and son…..and then try to tell us how great a parent she is/was.

I don’t buy it for a minute.  He probably didn’t want to give her more drug money.

NC, I think you’re right. There’s always 2 side to a story. I listened in on the 911 call and Dez mother cannot for 1 second listens to the dispatcher. Given her drug related past maybe people should think twice before assuming it’s all Dez fault. Maybe the cops should lock them both up. How can a son put his hands on his mother? On the contrary, how can the mother call 911 on her son? I’d rather give Dez a second chance (ie counseling) then his addicted mother.
