Dez Bryant’s Mom Isn’t Pressing Charges Against Her Son, Even Though She Says He Tried To Kill Her

Dez Bryant was arrested a week ago for assaulting his mother. According to the police report, Angela Bryant told police that Dez “hit her across the face with a ball cap, pulled her hair, tore her shirt and bra, and repeatedly struck her hands and wrists when she tried to push him away.” She was also overheard in the background of her 911-call saying “he tried to kill me.”

But after all that, Dez’s mom says she doesn’t want to press charges against her son. Prosecutors can still pursue the case, but “it will be hard to achieve a conviction if Angela Bryant isn’t inclined to cooperate.”

Now, the biggest question is what Roger Gooddell and his quickdraw fine/suspension hand have anything to say about the matter.
