When Not Playing Football, Drew Brees Does Creative Concussion Testing Awareness PSAs

How cool is Drew Brees? He’s in a contract dispute with his team, so in the interim he does a “Cash Cab” parody to raise awareness for concussion testing, in service of not only his beleaguered team or the NFL, but all football players. That cool.

To be fair, this is basically an infomercial for Dick’s Sporting Goods, and it’s so overdone (the girl writing down the website on the phone is a nice touch) but aw come on it’s great that he did this. (From WWL.com):

I must say: he drove pretty recklessly at some points and still survived. Did he really turn around for that long while driving? I was nervous for those passengers. Not even Ben Bailey was so cavalier at the wheel, and that turned out to be kinda fake also. Both shows: informative, kinda fake.
